The Canes will look to close out their road trip with a fourth straight win.

The Canes have gone 4-1-0 so far in the first five games of their road trip.

What - Game 8 (5-2-0)
When - 10 p.m., Monday, Oct. 28
Where - Rogers Arena; Vancouver, BC, Canada
How to Watch - FanDuel Sports Network South

The Carolina Hurricanes will cap off their season-long road trip with a final stop in British Columbia to take on the Vancouver Canucks (4-1-2).

The Canes are coming in winners of their last three, having defeated the Edmonton Oilers (3-2 OTW), Calgary Flames (4-2 W) and the Seattle Kraken (4-1).

Carolina is clicking all throughout their lineup with contributions from each line.

The team is heavy on the forecheck, defending well and the netminders have been strong too.

However, there's a bit of a question mark with the goaltending situation tonight as Spencer Martin was recalled from the AHL this morning.

This could be a precautionary thing or to allow someone to get more rest, but it's never a good sign to have to call a netminder up.

The Hurricanes will have a pre-game skate later in the day.

Vancouver started the year off poorly, but have since rattled off four wins in a row.

While the team has been feeding a bit on some of the bottom teams in the league, the Canucks are still a very good team and one you can't take lightly.

Kevin Lankinen has provided solid goaltending for the Canucks and J.T. Miller and Brock Boeser have been good.

The biggest hurdle though is for them to find a way to get Elias Pettersson going as the Swedish center has struggled out of the gate.

Carolina, however, will be hoping he doesn't figure it out tonight.
