The Carolina Hurricanes will host the Atlantic leading Boston Bruins (44-17-15) tonight in another top of the East matchup.
Carolina is coming off of back-to-back shutouts from both Frederik Andersen and Pyotr Kochetkov, and based off the constant rotation, it should be Andersen back in net.
The Canes have gotten a lot of juice from their top line of Jake Guentzel - Sebastian Aho - Seth Jarvis, but they'd still probably like to see a bit more from the rest of the lineup as they head towards the postseason.
There may also be a bit of a slow start given that the Hurricanes haven't played since Saturday.
Boston is also coming off of a shutout, a hard fought 3-0 victory over the Nashville Predators with no goals being scored until a shorty late in the third period.
The demise of the Bruins was greatly exaggerated this offseason as the B's still see themselves as the top team in the Atlantic despite some key departures.
David Pastrnak continues to be one of the league's best already having eclipsed 100 points and now with 50 goals in his sights too.
