What - Game 74 (45-21-7)
When - 7:30 p.m., Thursday, March 28
Where - PNC Arena; Raleigh, NC
How to Watch - Bally Sports South, Bally Sports Detroit
The Carolina Hurricanes look to respond from a disappointing road outing against the Pittsburgh Penguins as they return back home to PNC Arena to take on the Detroit Red Wings (36-29-7).
The Canes suffered their first regulation home loss since mid-February in Jake Guentzel's return to Pittsburgh, so it's safe to say that Carolina can still be considered 'rolling.'
They just need to get back on track a little.
One such player who the team really needs that bump from is winger Andrei Svechnikov who has just a goal and three points in his last nine games. However, in that same stretch of games, he's taken six minor penalties.
Carolina needs him to get back to form as the postseason is fast approaching.
Speaking of, the Red Wings will be a very desperate team coming in as they're coming off a 5-4 overtime loss to the Washington Capitals, the team they're chasing for that final wild card spot.
Detroit needs points badly, so they'll certainly come out hot against Carolina.
