The Canes will have their hands full due to a handful of key injuries.
What - Game 16 (11-4-0)
When - 7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 16
Where - Lenovo Center; Raleigh, NC
How to Watch - FanDuel Sports Network South, Sportsnet 1, TVAS2
The Carolina Hurricanes will take on the Ottawa Senators (8-7-1) tonight at Lenovo Center for the first game of a back-to-back.
Carolina is coming off a tough road trip where they dropped two out of three games due to a bad few minutes in each.
In Colorado, the Canes allowed five goals in less than 10 minutes in the second period and in Utah, they allowed three goals in just over two minutes in the third period.
Despite those tough stretches, their overall game has still been strong so there's confidence that they can get things back on track.
However, what will make that difficult is a handful of key injuries: Seth Jarvis, Pyotr Kochetkov and Frederik Andersen.
In net for Carolina tonight will be third-string netminder Spencer Martin.
Ottawa is coming off of a 5-4 overtime loss to the Philadelphia Flyers, but have points in three straight.
The Senators have had some really dominant games, but also some pretty poor ones so it's still hard to get a read on them, which has become quite a trend over the last few years in Canada's capital.
