The Carolina Hurricanes will be taking on the Pittsburgh Penguins (17-17-6) tonight as they look to bounce back from a disappointing 4-0 loss to the Minnesota Wild last night.

The Canes have been a hot and cold team for months now, looking dominant at times but immediately following up those games with duds.

Inconsistency has plagued the team and it mainly ties back to the team's top forwards not being able to consistently produce.

The Penguins are coming into town having lost their last two in a row and three of their last four. However, despite that, Pittsburgh is doing a lot better than they were when Carolina saw them earlier this season.

The power play is starting to click for Pittsburgh and it seems like they're managing to scrape together wins again.

It will probably be a much closer game tonight than the previous meetings.
