    What - Game 3 (1-1)
    When - 6 p.m., Saturday, May 10
Where - Lenovo Center; Raleigh, NC
How to Watch - TNT, truTV, MAX, Sportsnet, TVAS

The Carolina Hurricanes will look to jump back ahead in their series against the Washington Capitals tonight as they return to Lenovo Center.

The Canes, who have yet to lose at home this postseason, were one of the most successful home teams this season, having tied the franchise record for home wins in a regular season.

After taking Game 1 in Washington, the Canes faltered in Game 2, but the road split gives the Hurricanes a big leg up as the series shifts.

If Carolina can take advantage of home ice, they'll have a good shot of advancing to the next round, but it all starts with getting it done at home.

    • The last two times these teams met in the postseason was 2019. Carolina qualified for the playoffs for the first time in nine years and Washington were the defending Cup champions. The Canes won the series in seven games.
    • While not too many players are left from either of those teams, what's notable is that two defensemen have now swapped places as Dmitry Orlov and Trevor van Riemsdyk will now be on separate sides of the series.
    • Jaccob Slavin (1g, 10pts in 9gp) is a point-per-game player against Washington in the postseason.
