How to Watch - Hurricanes Hockey Network, Monumental Sports Network
The Carolina Hurricanes return home winners of their last five games and they'll be looking to push the streak to six tonight against the Washington Capitals.
The Hurricanes have been riding high on their winning streak, with contributions up and down the lineup offensively (Sebastian Aho leads the way with six goals and 11 points in six games and Mark Jankowski has goals in four straight).
In addition, both goaltenders seem to be settling in with Brandon Bussi and Pyotr Kochetkov each picking up solid wins this past weekend.
Washington is coming to town for what might be Alex Ovechkin's last trip to Lenovo Center.
The Caps captain has registered 33 goals and 59 points in 48 career regular season games in Raleigh (3 goals in five playoff games), the most he has scored in any opposing building.
His team enters tonight's matchup on the heels of a 5-3 loss to the Seattle Kraken on Sunday.
The Capitals' lineup will already look a little different to the one that came in and beat the Hurricanes earlier in the month too, with a few notable injuries/illnesses.
