Carolina Hurricanes head coach Rod Brind'Amour has confirmed that forward Jack Drury will make his return to the Canes' lineup tonight against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Drury has missed the last eight games with a lower-body injury after an awkward collision into the boards March 9 in the first period against the New Jersey Devils.

The 24-year-old centerman finished the game, but Brind'Amour said after the game that Drury "gutted it out" and that "he would be out for a while."

Now, just over two weeks later, Drury is set to return to the lineup.

In 63 games this season, Drury has eight goals and 27 points and has been a dependable two-way player. He also has been strong in the dot with a 54.2% win rate.

He's been a good player since making the team out of training camp and has spent time as both the 4C and 2C as well as getting time on PP2.

Coming out of the lineup will be Brendan Lemieux.

Drury will start on the fourth line playing on the wing with Jesperi Kotkaniemi centering him and Stefan Noesen.
