The Carolina Hurricanes have activated goaltender Pyotr Kochetkov off injured reserve. 

The Russian netminder left mid-game against the Anaheim Ducks on Jan. 11 after he took a blow to the head.

Defenseman Dmitry Orlov bumped Isac Lundestrom into Kochetkov forcing the netminder into concussion protocol.

Since then, the Canes have gone 4-2-0 and also added netminder Spencer Martin off of waivers.

While there is no guarantee that he will be in tomorrow, it's still a welcome sight and it for sure means he will be ready following the All-Star break.
