
The Carolina Hurricanes will once again be participating in the Southeast Rookie Showcase this year.
The showcase will take place in Estero, Florida at Hertz Arena, the home of the ECHL's Florida Everblades and run from September 15 through September 18.
The participating teams include the Hurricanes, Florida Panthers (host), Tampa Bay Lightning and Nashville Predators.
It will truly be a southern hockey showcase.
All the games will be free and open to the public and will also be livestreamed on the Florida Panther' team website (floridapanthers.com).
Here's a breakdown of the game schedule:
Friday, Sept. 15
4 p.m. - Nashville Predators vs. Tampa Bay Lightning
7 p.m. - Florida Panthers vs. Carolina Hurricanes
Saturday, Sept. 16
3 p.m. - Carolina Hurricanes vs. Tampa Bay Lightning
6 p.m. - Florida Panthers vs. Nashville Predators
Monday, Sept. 18
10 a.m. - Nashville Predators vs. Carolina Hurricanes
1 p.m. - Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Florida Panthers
*Sunday is a practice day and no games are scheduled then
Per Hurricanes team reporter, Walt Ruff, the Hurricanes will announce their roster for the showcase closer to the event in September.
