    Carolina Hurricanes forward Eric Robinson set a new career high Friday night, netting the empty-netter in the Carolina Hurricanes' 4-2 win over the Detroit Red Wings.

    Robinson, 29, scored his 13th career goal, besting his 12 goal campaign with the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2022-23.

    The veteran forward is also tied for his career-best in points at 27, which he set in 2021-22 with Columbus as well.

    The former Princeton captain has been a versatile and dependable piece of the lineup for Carolina, not only with his steady production, but also with his ability to play up and down the lineup, his forechecking and his physicality.
