Former Carolina Hurricane and taco enthusiast Eddie Lack announced today on his social media that he is now an official citizen of the United States of America.
Lack, 36, played two seasons for the Hurricanes from 2015-2017 after the team traded for him at the 2015 draft for a pair of picks.
The Swedish goaltender quickly became a fan favorite thanks to his colorful personality and humorous taco-promo commercials.
Lack played 144 games in the NHL for Carolina, Vancouver, Calgary and the New Jersey Devils and now is a realtor in Arizona.
