Carolina Hurricanes forward Teuvo Teravainen has set a new single-season career high in goals with his 24th and 25th of the season in Game 82.
In the first period against the Columbus Blue Jackets, Teravainen buried a give-and-go feed from Jesperi Kotkaniemi to not only tie the score, but also set the milestone.
He then followed it up with a nasty post-and-in shot on the power play in the second period.
Teravainen set the new single season career high while somehow shooting even less than any other season since coming to Carolina.
Despite everyone saying he needed to shoot more, he set a new career best by shooting less... I guess he's always been right.
If there was ever a time to score all these goals it would be this one as the 29-year-old forward is an upcoming UFA.
Teravainen has 25 goals and 53 points this season which is a good bounce back from his tough season last year.
'Turbo' is also one of the best penalty killers in the entire league and a true two-way specialist.
It seems like just yesterday that the quiet Finn signed his five-year, $27 million deal, but it's coming to a end.
The Canes will have a difficult offseason coming up with a myriad of UFA an RFAs all looking for new deals and it will be interesting to see what happens with Teravainen.
But the focus right now is on one thing.
The Stanley Cup.
