The Carolina Hurricanes' pair of Finnish forwards, Sebastian Aho and Teuvo Teravainen, apparently hold the record for the most games played together by a pair of Finnish-born NHL teammates.

The two have played 577 games together across both the regular season and playoffs which is a NHL record per NHL Public Relations.

Aho broke into the league in the same season in which Carolina traded for Teravainen from the Chicago Blackhawks (2016-17) and the pair clicked almost instantly and have been virtually stapled alongside each other since.

The two are good friends off the ice too, with the pair spending a lot of their off-time and holidays together.

Over their Hurricanes career, the two have combined on 210 goals (95 scored by Aho and assisted by Teravainen, 64 scored by Teravainen and assisted by Aho and 51 scored by another teammate with both Aho and Teravainen registering an assist).
