Antti Raanta on Waivers | Goaltending Options for Carolina Carolina Hurricanes netminder Antti Raanta has cleared waivers and has subsequently been reassigned to the Chicago Wolves of the AHL. The Finnish netminder was placed on waivers Saturday following a 6-5 overtime loss to the Nashville Predators [http://thehockeynews.com/nhl/nashville-predators/] Friday night. It's been a tough season for the 34-year-old netminder who in 14 games this season, has a 6-5-1 record with a 0.854 save percentage and 3.61 goals against average, and had lost his last five starts in a row. Hopefully a bit of time down in the AHL can help him refocus and find his game.
