On Saturday night, the Chicago Blackhawks took on the Toronto Maple Leafs in some Original Six action. Ahead of the game, Chicago honored the early years of their franchise's history as part of their centennial celebration. This closes out their first chapter of the year-long party, "The Originals".

Pat Foley hosted the ceremony before the game. The families of some Blackhawks legends, like Glenn Hall, Bobby Hull, and Stan Mikita, were there to represent these Blackhawks legends.

Tony Esposito's family couldn't make it, but the first 8000 fans that entered the building received a bobblehead of the legendary goaltender known as "Tony O".

Denis Savard, Corey Crawford, and Patrick Sharp also helped honor those who came before them and paved the way.

The early days of the team made it so that the Blackhawks could become the historic franchise that they are today. On Saturday night, the organization did a great job honoring the past.
