Happy birthday to Chicago Blackhawks superstar, Connor Bedard, who turns 21 years old on July 17th. 

Bedard is one of the best players to play from 18-20 years old in NHL history. Offensively, he has broken out as one of the game's great young stars. 

In 219 games played, Bedard has 75 goals and 128 assists for 203 points. He scored 30 goals and had 45 assists for 75 points in 69 games played in 2025-26. This was his first breakout season, but there is another significant level he will get to. 

Heading into his age 21 season, Bedard has the challenge of starting the season on the shelf, but he has shown the ability to overcome adversity. 

Next on the agenda for Bedard, besides rehabbing his shoulder, is getting a contract extension signed.
