Former Blackhawks Defenseman Louis Crevier Has A Contract Extension With Sabres

Former Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Louis Crevier went from being a 7th-round pick to a player worth extending on a long-term NHL contract. It is a 4-year deal with an AAV of $4 million.

Crevier is well deserving of this contract. He has shown the ability to use his big frame to defend well, be hard to play against, and even provide some offense every now and again thanks to one of the hardest slop shots in the league.

On a team like Buffalo with studs like Rasmus Dahlin, Owen Power, and Mattias Samuelson ahead of him, Crevier can just fit in like a glove and play his game.
