The Chicago Blackhawks are calling up Nick Lardis and Drew Commesso from the Rockford IceHogs. 

Commesso is getting the call because Spencer Knight is ill. Knight will not travel to Dallas. As for Lardis, he will be another forward option as they now have 13 on the roster again following the trade deadline.
