On Thursday night, the Chicago Blackhawks were routed by the Pittsburgh Penguins 6-2. It was, in a lot of ways, their worst game of the season.

There was one positive that came out of it, though. Connor Bedard scored his first goal on a goalie since coming back from his injury. That is now 21 goals on the season for him.

This goal, although it was 6-2 after it was scored, made a little bit of Chicago Blackhawks history. It is Connor Bedard's 66th goal of his career, which passes Ed Olczyk for the most by a Blackhawks player before turning 21 years old.

When Bedard was drafted, he was seen as an incredible pure sniper. Although he has shown elite playmaking skills as an NHL player, his goal scoring is living up to the hype.

Bedard doesn't turn 21 until after the season is over (July 17th), so every goal he scores from this point to the end of the season will only build on his new record.
