Every year, the Hershey Bears of the AHL have a Teddy Bear toss at one of their first games of the New Year. In 2026, that came on Sunday night against the Rockford IceHogs.

Laurent Brossoit was in net for the IceHogs and he allowed the goal that initiated the world famous phenomenon.
