Ryan Donato was incredible last season. After spending his career as a decent bottom-six forward, he had a 31-goal/31-assist for 62 points season. This production earned him a nice raise with a multi-year contract.

Donato comes from Massachusetts, where they pump out great NHL players yearly. Donato had the third most points of any player that came from this great hockey state. Only Jack Eichel of the Vegas Golden Knights and Matt Boldy of the Minnesota Wild had more.
