The Chicago Blackhawks selected Anton Frondell with the third overall pick in the 2025 NHL Draft. He is signed, but is playing the 2025-26 season in Sweden for Djugarden.
On Friday, a video surfaced of Frondell scoring a goal from an impossible angle. He caught the goaltender puck-watching and sniped it past him.
The competition level, based on the video, is far from what Frondell will see when he gets to the NHL, but there is no doubt that some skill went into this play. He is an impressive player with an incredible future.
