The Chicago Blackhawks made a big move on Thursday, signing Patrick Kane to a two-year, $8 million AAV contract. With this, No. 88 is back in Chicago and will be looking to help the Blackhawks take a big step forward.

Yet, when looking at the Blackhawks' current roster, it is fair to wonder if they could have another move in them. They would benefit by adding another experienced winger to their roster to solidify their roster.

Because of this, let's look at two remaining free agents who could be good fits on the Blackhawks' roster.

One UFA forward who could be a nice addition to Chicago's roster is Eeli Tolvanen. The 2017 first-round pick would provide the Blackhawks with a hard-nosed forward who chips in offensively and kills penalties if signed. Furthermore, at 27 years old, he is right in his prime. In 78 games last season for the Seattle Kraken, he recorded 12 goals, 36 points, and 187 hits. 

Michael Bunting is another UFA winger who could be worth taking a flier on for the Blackhawks. The 30-year-old had a down year in 2025-26, posting 14 goals and 33 points in 74 games split between the Nashville Predators and Dallas Stars. However, the pesky winger also scored at least 19 goals from 2021-22 to 2024-25 and recorded 55 points just back in 2023-24. With this, he could be an interesting bounce-back candidate for Chicago to add to their roster.
