Connor Bedard might get some negative attention because some don't think he's going to turn out to be as good as advertised, but almost every aspect of his career so far has proven otherwise. Whether he turns out to be a center or wing for the majority of his career, he is doing what very few have done at his age or to this point in his NHL career.

Bedard just passed the 161 game mark in his career, and through those games, is equally comparable to Patrick Kane.

Through 161-games, Bedard had 51 goals, 91 assists, 142 points, and 8 game-winning goals. Kane, at that point in his career, scored 46 goals, 95 assists, 141 points, and 8 game-winning goals.

Both Bedard and Kane were Calder Trophy winners, but the difference is that Bedard played his entire rookie season as an 18-year-old. Kane was older and played it as a 19-year-old.

Kane is almost 37 years old and is a few years removed from the Chicago Blackhawks, but Bedard is just getting started. Kane has had a very impressive and long career where he has won many trophies and been in the running for many more. Bedard just has a Calder to his name, but the 20-year-old has plenty of time to dominate in the NHL for the next 17 years to match the Blackhawks' legend.
