This Blackhawks defenseman hit a new level this campaign with the Original Six club.

The Chicago Blackhawks saw multiple of their young players make an impact during the 2025-26 season. One of them was certainly defenseman Louis Crevier, as the 6-foot-8 blueliner broke out in a big way this season for the Original Six club.

Crevier not only cemented himself a spot on the Blackhawks' roster but also became an incredibly important part of their blueline this season. He found a home on the Blackhawks' top pairing with Alex Vlasic due to his steady two-way play, and also got reps on their penalty kill. When looking at the year Crevier put together for the Blackhawks, it is completely understandable.

In 78 games this season with the Blackhawks, Crevier set new career highs with seven goals, 18 assists, 25 points, 95 blocks, and 124 hits. With numbers like these, he gave the Blackhawks a little bit of everything from the point this season and was certainly one of their bright spots this campaign because of it.

Crevier also ended the season on a high note, as he had four points in his final four games. This included him scoring two goals in the Blackhawks' season finale against the San Jose Sharks on April 15.

Crevier will now be looking to continue to trend in the right direction next season after his breakout year with the Blackhawks from here.
