Don't be surprised if Teuvo Teravainen heats back up next season.

Chicago Blackhawks forward Teuvo Teravainen had a tough year by his standards during the 2025-26 season. In 75 games, he recorded 14 goals, 21 assists, and 35 points. These aren't bad numbers, but they were notably lower than his recent seasons.

During the 2024-25 season with the Blackhawks, Teravainen recorded 15 goals, 43 assists, and 58 points in 82 games. This was after he had 25 goals and 53 points in 76 games during his final season with the Carolina Hurricanes in 2023-24. When looking at the recent years Teravainen has had, the possibility of him putting together a bounce-back campaign for Chicago next season should not be ruled out.

The new season will offer Teravainen a clean slate, and he will be aiming to take advantage of it. If he can regain his previous form and give Chicago another 50-point season, it would be beneficial for a Blackhawks club that is looking to take a step forward next season.

It is going to be interesting to see what kind of season Teravainen can put together for the Blackhawks in 2026-27. He is one of their key forwards, and it would be massive if he regain his top form next season.
