Frank Nazar has the potential to hit another level in 2026-27.

Frank Nazar is undoubtedly one of the young players who the Chicago Blackhawks are building around. They made that clear when they signed the skilled forward to a seven-year, $46,199,937 contract extension last August.

After landing his big extension, Nazar responded by posting new career highs with 15 goals, 26 assists, and 41 points in 66 games last season. Overall, it was a solid year for the exciting youngster.

Yet, when noting that Nazar is still in the early stages of his career and only 22 years old, it is clear that he has not hit his ceiling yet. Because of this, he certainly has the potential to hit a new level during the 2026-27 season.

Nazar has shown flashes of being a high-impact forward early on in his NHL career. Now that he is gaining more experience, it is hard to bet against him continuing to get better with the Blackhawks.

Nazar should be put in a prime position to succeed with the Blackhawks, too, as he is one of their best forwards. Due to this, he should receive a lot of playing time next season, and that should benefit him tremendously.

It is going to be very interesting to see what kind of season Nazar has in 2026-27. It is hard not to be excited about his future with the Original Six club.
