Juggled lineup in home opener versus Vegas on Saturday after lopsided loss against Avalanche in finale of five-game trip.

Connor Bedard has a new right winger, Taylor Raddysh, on his line as the Blackhawks play their home opener against the defending Stanley Cup Champion Vegas Golden Knights on Saturday.

The Blackhawks returned to Chicago with a 2-3 record following a five-game trip to start the season. The Hawks were overwhelmed by the Colorado Avalanche's relentless speed in a 4-0 loss at Denver on Thursday.

The margin would have been worse if not for terrific goaltending by Petr Mrazek. Bedard was not only held without a shot on goal, but wasn't even credited with attempting one.

Following are the forward lines and defense pairings for Saturday night's contest at the United Center. Before the game, the Blackhawks will have a memorial presentation for late owner and chairman Rocky Wirtz, who died in July.

Forward Lines

F1. Taylor Hall-Connor Bedard-Taylor Raddysh

F2 Tyler Johnson-Lukas Reichel-Andreas Athanasiou

F3. Nick Foligno-Jason Dickinson-Corey Perry

F4. Boris Katchouk-Ryan Donato-Reese Johnson

Defense Pairings

Before the game, the Blackhawks assigned center Cole Guttman to Rockford of the AHL. Guttman, who's returning from shoulder surgery, played in Chicago's first three games.

Coach Luke Richardson said Guttman was sent down to give the promising 24-year-old center more ice time in all situations.
