The 19-year-old was asked about his goals for this upcoming season in terms of statistics and he had a pretty simple, yet humorous answer.

“I’d never tell you, but I have some stuff in my head for sure,” Bedard said.

In his rookie campaign, Bedard recorded 22 goals, 39 assists and 61 points in 68 games while averaging 19:47 minutes.

If he remains healthy, the sky’s the limit for what the young phenom could accomplish next year. There’s a real chance that Bedard elevates from rising prospect to superstar and even a legitimate top-ten player in the NHL.

Coming into the NHL as a relatively quiet young man, but Bedard has started to find himself and seems to be more comfortable in his own skin.

In the future, Bedard will likely become the face of the league, so it’s important he is comfortable in front of the media.
