Connor Bedard has Caleb Williams' back as the two athletes are set to be the face of sports in Chicago for years to come.

The future of Chicago sports is bright as the Blackhawks and Bears both recently selected two prospects that could very well transcend their respective sports.
In 2023, the Blackhawks drafted Connor Bedard with the first overall pick while the Bears picked Caleb Williams first overall in 2024.
Bedard and Williams have the expectations to not only be the face of their new franchise, but the face of sports in Chicago, which is a lot of pressure to put on two young kids.
Being with the Blackhawks for one year already, Bedard knows what Williams is going through and feels he is fully ready to take on this challenge.
“Yeah. Give me the Bears. Caleb (Caleb Williams), I'm sure he's loving the city. How couldn't you? Obviously, we have to play in the best sports city in the world. So, I mean, they're just gonna be fired up. Huge free agency,” Bedard said. “Yeah. I mean, I think. I think they're gonna be. They're gonna make the playoffs. They're gonna be a team to watch. And Caleb. Caleb's gonna be looking at the Bears all day.”
The two players may play totally different sports, but are similar in a lot of ways. They both have this raw athletic skill that virtually no other prospect their age possesses.
Bedard’s lightning speed, unreal puck handling skills and a wicked shot leaves fans in awe while Williams has a cannon for an arm and is able to make throws in different positions that are just mind boggling for a 22-year-old.
More importantly though, Bedard and Williams are class acts and are perfect young men to take over the spotlight of Chicago.
It’s an exciting time to be a Chicago sports fan all because of Bedard and Williams.
