Team offering ticket packages for as few as five games and at $135, plus taxes and fees.

The Blackhawks enjoyed a jump in season ticket sales after they won the NHL Draft Lottery, then again after they selected Connor Bedard with the No. 1 pick. Following the May 8 draft lottery alone, the team reportedly sold more than $5 million in  packages, including 1,200 full-season plans.

The addition of Connor Bedard has Blackhawks ticket sales looking up for 2023-24.

Bedard is signed and expected to debut as a regular in the NHL at age 18 this fall. Fans have a chance to lock in affordable packages to see hockey's "next generational talent" and what figures to be an improved Blackhawks team.

The team has announced base-level "Blackhawks Memberships" for as few as five games that cost as little as $135, plus taxes and fees. Individual plans vary by price, but fans can customize their programs and select games. The menu includes "Pick 'Em," "Quarter" and "Mini" plans, as well as the full slate of 41 home games.

Several years ago, the Blackhawks moved from a traditional, rigid program of season ticket sales. When the team's 535-game sellout streak ended on Oct. 24, 2021 in a loss to Detroit, the number of empty seats at the United Center began to grow.

Buoyed by new software and an active sales program, the team's attendance last season wasn't as bad as the last-place Blackhawks 26-49-7 record, third worst in the NHL. The team averaged 17,167 tickets sold per game and and larger crowds weren't uncommon. The last-place Blackhawks averaged a surprising 17,167 tickets sold per game last season.

In a news release, the Blackhawks said all members, regardless of level, receive "exclusive gifts" and "a base suite of benefits including food and beverage and merchandise discounts, special member events, access to exclusive retail items and presale opportunities."

An "Original Six" package has already sold out among advance depositors, but others include "Friday Nights with the Blackhawks," Sundays and a holiday package.

Chicago's home opener again the Stanley Cup Champion Vegas Golden Knights on Oct. 21 is included only in full and half-season plans.
