    Services honoring late Blackhawks chairman will be streamed live via team's YouTube channel (YouTube.com/Blackhawks) and through Blackhawks.com. Local fans also can watch on NBC Sports Chicago.

    Fans who can't attend the memorial event for late Blackhawks chairman Rocky Wirtz on Aug. 9 at the United Center can watch the ceremony live from their home, office or phone.

    The event, scheduled to start at 11 a.m. CDT, will be streamed via the team's YouTube Channel (YouTube.com/Blackhawks and through its website at Blackhawks.com. Local fans also can watch coverage on team rightsholder NBC Sports Chicago.

    The program is expected to run 90 minutes. Speakers honoring Wirtz, who died suddenly on June 25 at age 70, have not been announced.

    The event is open for free to the public and doors to the United Center will open at 9:30 a.m. Fans wishing to pay their respects to Rocky Wirtz can remain at the Blackhawks home arena until 3 p.m.
