Hi folks. I gotta' plug The Hockey News 2023-24 Yearbook.
I've written the Blackhawks previews in the Yearbook it since Mike Keenan coached the team and Bob McKenzie was THN's editor. That's also about the time started I started covering sports for the AP in Chicago.
The THN Yearbook provides snappy, complete overviews — plus depth charts —of all 32 NHL teams heading into the coming season. It's a "Bible" of sorts.

The Yearbook also has feature stories you won't get elsewhere. It's a lot handier than scouring the Internet or Twitter/X (uggghhh...) for stories on all 32 teams, then running into paywalls. BTW: There are no paywalls on AP stories when you Google them or use the AP News App.
THN stories are written by real, independent journalists whose content is not beholden to review or guidelines by the NHL or its teams. The facts aren't smoothed over. When we write an analysis piece, it will have the bad with the good.
You can find the Yearbook on newsstands/magazine racks across Canada, even in small towns. It also pops up in the United States, including in Chicago.
THN editions are available online. You can read them on your phone or other device. You can subscribe or get individual editions, including one freebie, by clicking on the yellow oval in the upper right corner of this site.
Speaking of, THN now has team sites like this one for all 32 NHL teams. We move fast on breaking news and have even more features and analysis.
We'll be all over Connor Bedard and the Blackhawks.
