Mrazek is healthy and ready for action with the Blackhawks.

Petr Mrazek has been activated from the injured reserve by the Chicago Blackhawks ahead of the team's next game against the Seattle Kraken.

Mrazek left the game against the Winnipeg Jets with a groin injury and has been out for 11 days. In the meantime, Arvid Soderblom has stepped up as the starter and Drew Commesso was recalled to be the backup.

Following the loss to the Jets, the Blackhawks went 3-2-0 with 15 goals against. With the activation of Mrazek, Commesso has been returned to the AHL following a relief appearance and a start in his first bit of action in the NHL in his career.

Mrazek has played well like the goaltenders have all season for the Blackhawks. The veteran, in his 13th season and third with Chicago, has a record of 7-11-1 to go along with a 2.83 GAA and .906 SV% in 20 starts.

Upon Mrazek's return to the lineup, it is more likely that he won't completely hold the net with how Soderblom has been playing. Mrazek will likely still serve as the starter, but to ensure he remains healthy, will probably give up starts to the young netminder from here on out.
