It is becoming difficult to see Hall's future with the Blackhawks past this season.

The Chicago Blackhawks are at the bottom of the standings this season again and there are some clear issues with the team. Injuries haven't exactly helped, but chemistry has been very hard to come by as well.
In the Blackhawks' latest game, Taylor Hall was a healthy scratch. A number of different players have been healthy scratched this season, but there are some players that just don't normally come out of the lineup. Hall was considered one of them.
While the expectation was that Hall would fit right back in on the top line this season with Connor Bedard, Hall hasn't been the same player. He has been moved between the top two lines with many different linemates and only has two goals and six points in 17 games with a -5 rating on the season.
Hall hasn't been the only player that has struggled, but seeing as he is in the last year of his contract and some of the younger players in the organization will be pushing for spots on the team and higher in the lineup, moving on from the veteran this season seems like a viable outcome.
Hall has said that he would like to stick around longer, but that has to be in the cards for the Blackhawks and it isn't looking great so far. If he were to have a bigger impact on the season to this point, it would be somewhat of a different conversation, but seeing as Chicago is still in a rebuild, trading pieces ahead of the deadline is the best course of action.
The Blackhawks have a healthy Hall, which is some good news. They team would find it much more difficult to trade him if injuries were more of a concern this season like they have been in recent seasons. If Hall remains healthy, keeps his speed, and shows flashes of the offense he can produce, teams will be calling for the top-6 veteran winger.
Hall will likely be headed to a contender at the trade deadline with the Blackhawks retaining half of his cap hit to reduce it to $3 million. He has moved around quite a bit in his career, but at this stage and with how the season has gone for him and the Blackhawks, I don't see Chicago getting a first-round pick for him. If the team can manage to acquire a decently high pick or a prospect for Hall, that would be the best case scenario as it stands right now.
Hall isn't going to be traded tomorrow, so there is still some time to see how things play out with the Blackhawks over the next few months.
