Forward Taylor Hall, the 2017-18 Hart Trophy winner the rebuilding Chicago Blackhawks acquired to boost their core of young prospects, will undergo right knee surgery and is expected to miss the remainder of the season. According to coach Luke Richardson, Hall needs to have his right ACL repaired. The recovery time is usually at least several months. He was in Chicago for further evaluation. "It just came from an accumulation of a bunch of little injuries in the game, and even in practice the other day,"Richardson said. "It just became unstable and they have to fix that now." STARTED ON BEDARD'S LINE Hall had two goals and two assists in 10 games with Chicago. He started the season on left wing on a line with rookie center Connor Bedard. Bedard had two goals and two assists in Chicago's 5-3 win over the Lightning two weeks ago. But Richardson thought Hall has "was the strongest forward on the ice that night" before getting hurt in the final minutes. See video.
