While many Eastern Conference teams have already secured their first-round matchup, the Western Conference is coming down to the very last day to see who they are going to face off against. 

If the playoffs were to start today, the Colorado Avalanche would face the Los Angeles Kings, the most likely scenario, but there is still a very slim chance they won't.
