The Kitchener Rangers have defeated the LHJMQ Chicoutimi Sagueneens 3-2 and have completed the round-robin with a perfect 3-0 record to help them advance to the Memorial Cup Final, though it came with some pain.

Through the third period, Avalanche prospect Christian Humphreys was in a board battle for the puck when Jordan Tourigny of the Sagueneens "tried" to clear the puck out, but all he did was stomp on Humphreys' foot multiple times, causing him to drop in pain and leave the game immediately.

Tourigny was assessed a game-major misconduct and kicked out of the game for his actions. The Sagueneens did make it 3-2 later in the third, but the Rangers held on to secure the victory.

The Rangers can now sit back and recover as they await who will face them in the finals on May 31st as the playoffs now take place these next three days.
