The Pioneers have taken down Cornell in the NCAA West Regional Semifinals 5-0 to advance to the West Regional Finals against Western Michigan.  This is the second year in a row that these two schools will face off in the conference tournament and the Frozen Four. 

The Pioneers controlled most of the first period, but a great tip by Avalanche prospect Jake Fisher helped secure the opening goal, his eighth of the season, tying his record from last season. He has set a new career high in assists (11) and points (19) this season.
