Coming off their third National Championship in the past five seasons, the Denver Pioneers have announced that defenseman Blake Fiddler has committed to them to join next season.

Fiddler, drafted by the Seattle Kraken with the 36th pick in the second round of the 2025 NHL Entry Draft, has just finished his third season with the Edmonton Oil Kings in the WHL. The assistant captain this season finished with 11 goals and 25 assists for 36 points in 63 games. The Kings were eliminated in the first round of the WHL Playoffs against the Saskatoon Blades in Game 7 in overtime.
