Just a couple of days after he carried the torch into Bell Arena for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals, former Colorado Avalanche player Claude Lemieux has passed away at the young age of 60.

Lemieux played 1215 games in the NHL, of those 1215, he played 297 with the Colorado Avalanche between the 1995-96 season to 1999-00 season. He finished with 142 goals and 155 assists for 297 points, helping the Avalanche secure the Stanley Cup during the 1995-96 season. In that post season run he finished with five goals and seven assists for 12 points in 19 games.
