With a 3-0 win against the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 6, the Carolina Hurricanes and defenseman Sean Walker have won the Stanley Cup. 

Walker was traded to the Avalanche during the 2023-24 season from the Philadelphia Flyers during the Trade Deadline. The deal saw the Avalanche acquire Walker in exchange for Ryan Johansen and a 2025 first-round pick.

During his time with the Avalanche he played 18 games, scoring four goals and three assists for seven points while playing just under 18 minutes a game. In the 11 playoff games he played in he didn't record a single point.
