As the NHL award finalists reveal continues, the Jack Adams award finalists have been announced, and head coach Jared Bednar has not been named one of the three finalists. The three are Jon Cooper (Lightning), Dan Muse (Penguins), and Lindy Ruff (Sabres

The Jack Adams award is "presented annually to the NHL coach adjudged to have contributed the most to his team's success."

While I personally agree with what Ruff and Muse did to their teams and the expectations heading into the season, compared to the record they finished the season with. Not having Bednar with the Avalanche's level of success is shocking, to say the least.

The last Colorado Avalanche head coach to win the Jack Adams Award was Patrick Roy in the 2013-14 season.
