Michael Russo of The Athletic reported earlier in the day that Erkisson Ek was not on the ice for the optional skate. While it is optional, it is still nice for any team player recovering from an injury to get out and practice drills to see how they are progressing toward getting back into the lineup.

Not long after the initial tweet went out, he followed up by reporting that Eriksson Ek will not be in the lineup for Game 4 and that he's "touch and go" with him right now.

It's another major opportunity for the Avalanche, especially after their disappointing 5-1 loss in Game 3.  The longer this series lingers, the sooner Eriksson Ek can return and be a huge pain in the Avalanche's side.
