Good morning, Avs fans!

It's game day and it's a back-to-back for your Colorado Avalanche as they take on the St. Louis Blues nearly 24 hours after claiming a 2-0 win over the Dallas Stars Sunday afternoon at American Airlines Center.

Scott Wedgewood got the start yesterday, so it's safe to assume that Mackenzie Blackwood will get the nod in this one. This isn't an important game for the Avalanche necessarily, but this is a huge one for Blackwood and his confidence after the 8-6 loss to Vancouver.

Blackwood has proven people wrong all season. After he got off to a slow start, there were a lot of questions, and Blackwood responded with some of the best goaltending we've seen from him. Now he's in the spotlight again. We'll see what Blacky has in store.
