With a 6-5 overtime win, the Colorado Avalanche swept the Edmonton Oilers to advance to the 2022 Stanley Cup Finals.

Game 4 saw the Avalanche come back from a 3-1 deficit after opening the first period strong with a 1-0 lead from Cale Makar on the power play. The Oilers quickly turned south, desperate to keep their season alive, and scored three goals in the second period.

The Avalanche took control of the third period, outscoring the Oilers 4-1 with goals from Devon Toews, Nathan MacKinnon, Gabriel Landeskog, and Mikko Rantanen to take a 5-4 lead.

Though Zach Kassian would score with three minutes remaining to keep the Oilers alive and force overtime. Though it wouldn't take long, just over a minute in, Lehkonen would make a great tip play to bat the puck out of the air from Makars' shot and bat it in to win the game.
