The Colorado Avalanche are coming off a 4-1 series win against the Minnesota Wild. Many, including myself, thought this series would go 6-7 games at minimum, but the Avalanche had other plans. 

Although a reported trade that didn't go through at the deadline was revealed, many are wondering: if the trade did come through, how would it affect their series, not only against the Dallas Stars but also against the Avalanche?
