DAZN reporter Steven Muehlhausen broke the news that DAZN will stream all 84 Avalanche regular-season games during the 2026-27 season, along with select preseason games, giving international fans another option to watch Nathan MacKinnon, Cale Makar and the reigning Presidents' Trophy winners.
The 2026-27 season will mark the first time the NHL plays an 84-game regular season since 1993-94, giving Avalanche fans two additional regular-season games to follow. Colorado opens the campaign September 30 at Ball Arena against the Los Angeles Kings.
DAZN's NHL coverage will be available outside the United States and Canada, meaning the streaming service will primarily provide an option for Avalanche fans following the club from international markets.
The service offers both Standard and Ultimate subscription tiers, with annual and monthly options. Pricing varies by country.
In the United Kingdom, for example, the Standard Season Pass costs £119.99 upfront, while the Ultimate package costs £139.99. Monthly Flex options are also available.
The Ultimate tier includes additional features such as multiview, which allows subscribers to watch up to four games simultaneously, as well as streaming on up to five devices across two locations.
DAZN will make its Avalanche coverage available across a wide range of platforms, including smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, streaming devices and video game consoles.
For Colorado, the international streaming agreement comes as the Avalanche begin another season with plenty to prove.
Despite being the dominant team all year, their playoff run ended in disappointing fashion, leaving the team to regroup and turn its regular-season success into the deeper postseason run it has been chasing.
MacKinnon and Makar remain at the center of those expectations after Colorado captured the Presidents' Trophy last season before its playoff run ended in the Western Conference Final.
The Avalanche will have plenty of marquee games on the schedule, including their first-ever Winter Classic appearance against the Utah Mammoth on New Years' Eve at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City. Colorado will also square off against the Vegas Golden Knights three times during the regular season after Vegas swept the Avalanche in the Western Conference Final last season.
For fans outside North America, DAZN will now provide a way to watch the Avalanche throughout that journey.
