The Avalanche have dealt with serious injuries to players all season. And Wednesday, the Avs revealed a veteran winger has suffered a setback in rehabilitating an injury.

The Colorado Avalanche have been dealing with significant injuries to many players this season. And Wednesday. the Avs told a Denver radio station that veteran right winger Valeri Nichushkin suffered a setback in his attempted return from a lower-body injury, and that Nichushkin will now be considered week-to-week rather than day-to-day. 

Nichushkin's last game action came New Year's Eve against Winnipeg. In 21 games this year, the 29-year-old has 11 goals and 17 points. When he's been in the lineup for Colorado this season, the Avalanche's record is 14-7-0. Without Nichushkin, in the lineup, the Avs are 14-12-2.
